5/21/08 McKenzie area; Carroll Co I went back by my parents, and there were two Mourning Doves feeding there, but no White-winged Dove. They haven't seen it this morning. Hopefully it's still in the neighborhood. I checked a couple of spots locally that are my best habitat for Oporornis warblers, and had a singing Mourning in the Obion River bottoms west of McKenzie. This is the same location I had one last May. Also back here was a singing Willow Flycatcher, and two Mississippi Kites. The only other obvious migrants were Magnolia, Canada, and Bay-breasted Warblers, and Swainson's and Gray-cheeked Thrushes. Good Birding!!
