I believe I saw a BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER while walking today (Feb 10)
along the Harpeth river on the Riverwalk Greenway in Davidson co. The bird
was seen around noon, on the right side of the trail behind about the 4th
house on Harpeth Run Dr. I had not brought my camera due to the rain, but I
got good looks at a very active warbler foraging on tree trunks that had a
black back with white steaks and a white belly with black streaks. When I
returned with my camera I could not relocate the bird.
I am still very new to birding and would love for someone to be able to
confirm this bird. I'm hoping to look for it again later this week.
