This morning I covered almost all of Ellington Ag Center and had a fine
birding day. The best bird of the day was a Swainson's Warbler near the
cemetery. Although they have nested at Ashland City Marsh in Cheatham Co.,
just west
of Nashville, they are rarely seen in Davidson Co. There was also a pair of
Blue Grosbeaks, one of them swishing its tail from side to side like we
observed at Shelby Park on Saturday.
