[TN-Bird] Swan at Lake Graham, Madison Co. is a Trumpeter

Mike Todd called just beofre 2pm and stated that he had the swan at Lake Graham
in the same area where it was reported yesterday and that it is a Trumpeter
Swan. It had great views of the bird from the parking area and he said at times
the bird swam to within 40 feet of where he was. I'm sure he will post some
pictures on his photo webpage later. This bird was first reported by Charlie &
Elizabeth Barnett on February 13 but I found out today from a friend of mine
that I work with who has a cousin who lives near Lake Graham that he first
photographed the bird 3 weeks ago. So it sounds like its been in the area for a
while now.
Lake Graham is a TWRA managed fishing lake south of I-40 in eastern Madison
County, east of Jackson, TN. Cotton Grove Road crosses the lake at its north
end and there is a gravel road about 200 feet past the bridge that goes over to
a parking area around a small cove. The swan is being seen around the parking
area/cove on the south side of Cotton Grove Road on the east side of the lake.
