As of 9;45 AM the spoonbill was easily observed in Pool 11 from the Blue
Goose Blvd. Auto Tour Loop. When you T into the first levee having to turn
left with a yellow gate blocking you on the right, the pool in front of you
is Pool 11. It is more like a ditch in this area. When you reach that T
just stop and look to your right almost looking over the yellow gate. It
was in amongst the mass of herons and egrets.
