[TN-Bird] Tennessee River waterbirds, Snow Geese and Red-breasted Mergansers, Pine Siskins in Hamilton County

Gary Brunvoll, Dan Jacobson and I started at Chickamauga Dam and checked
the river upstream all the way to Birchwood on 11/16. Not a whole lot of
waterbirds present but did have 2 SNOW GEESE flying out from Wolftever
causeway and a total of 6 Red-breasted Mergansers on route. Also had 54
Common Loons, 4 Horned Grebes,,3 Common Goldeneye, and 47 Lesser Scaup.
Had three separate small flocks of PINE SISKINS totaling 6 birds in the
county. I had three SNOW GEESE fly over Amnicola Hwy in Chattanooga
yesterday 11/17.
