FYI,
The Virginia's Warbler & the other unusual warblers present at Riverfront Park
in Kingsport seem to wander some on warm days and then return to the water's
edge on cold days to take advantage of the milder microclimate there.
It may still be in the vicinity & will return to its usual haunts when (if ?)
cold temps
return.

After a thorough scan of the greenway downstream to the Boatyard Park and
across the river via the pedestrian bridge, Lola and I were not able to locate
the Virginias Warbler. A few other birders were around and we are not aware
that anyone else observed the bird. I believe the bird has not been reported
since Saturday. There is a lot of cover downstream and on the opposite side of
the river so hopefully the bird is still in the general area. We had been
birding in Costa Rica and figured it was too much to expect the bird to hang
around till we got back. Still it was a very nice day to be out.
