After a rather slow morning for me looking for warblers at Radnor Lake,
I stopped by the small lake and marsh on the back side of the TSU
campus. There is now a fair amount of mud visible and there were at
least a dozen SOLITARY SANDPIPERs, who were not living up to their name,
searching for food in the mud. As I scanned the reed edge I saw a SORA
also searching in the mud for food. Nice to find one here again this
year.
