I had a Sedge Wren this morning in a line of dense swamp rose along the edge of our lake, and when Mac returned from a trip to the co-op we went to the same area in the hope of relocating the Sedge Wren. It cooperated for us as did a Marsh Wren in the same area. A sparrow in the same dense growth caught our eye and we were able to get wonderful views of a Le Conte's Sparrow. As we whispered to each other the various field marks we were seeing we realized we were looking at two separate Le Conte's in the same large bush. Susan McWhirter Rock Island Warren Co.
