MONDAY 08 AUG 2005
Snapp Bridge, Nolichucky River, Washington Co., TN
Dianne Draper, Don Holt

From Snapp Bridge around approximately 8 pm we saw an Osprey in a snag just
upstream of the bridge and on river-right. It sat for a while. Its breast was
pure white with fine dark speckling, no hint of buff. It flew over us and
downstream, disappearing behind the trees river-left. Snapp Bridge is at
36.186
degrees N, and 82.609 degrees W.
