There are lots-o-duck butts in the air at the Blue Spring in west Knoxville on
north Lovell Rd today. Among the many gadwall are ring-necked ducks, at least
one pair of northern shovelers and what looked like a solitary pair of
bufflehead. If you park across the street at the commercial building at the
intersection of Lovell Rd. and Murdock Dr. you can cross Lovell Rd to the west
and see the ducks from the property at the intersection. Access to the property
is permissible.
