Nice spotting, Graham! Hopefully it will stick around for the Lakes Count
CBC tomorrow. If not, that's a solid count-week bird! (I tried for it
yesterday, to secure it for c.w., but with the weather conditions most of
the grebes were stacked against the far shore, out of the wind, with poor
viewing conditions.)

The Western Grebe in Nashville is currently being seen from the seven
points rec. Boat launch area - the hotspot which I previously described in
an earlier email - opposite the peninsula from the campground. It is
distant and constantly diving, but fairly easily found with a scope.

A flock of 58 Sandhill cranes also just flew over.
