TN-birders,
Roger Kroodsma found a Western Kingbird at Gupton Wetlands in Roane County
this morning. When Dollyann and I got there about 1:30 pm., it was being
seen flycatching insects from a tree on the near end of the wetlands, close
to the parking lot.
We parked and then walked out the paved trail until it forks right and
left. We scoped it from that point in the wetland pond on the left as you
are walking in. Earlier, Roger had found it on and under the power lines
about 150 yards to the right.
