Susan :

Don't feel alone. I tried reaching Wally by phone last month and kept
getting a busy signal. He must have been there :-) I think he is
mad at me. I think he doesn't want to talk to me. He is an angry
sort of dictator here on TN-Birds and won't let anyone do everything
they want to. I really don't like him but, heck, I don't have to deal
with him because he won't return my e-mail messages. He edits
everything I try to put online. He makes fun of me and Anna Vareney
and Nell Moore on line and they really get mad at him. He is mean.

Recently, I was commenting on how long it takes him to respond to
an e-mail message and that I thought he had a new address. Anna
Varney and Nell Moore each told me not to get all excited and
concerned. Anna said she had waited four months for him to reply
and Nell said it had been so long she just gave up. I think he gets
busy and puts things off.

I don't think he has shunned a charming gal like you. From what I
hear, you are a nice person, great birder and a fun gal in the field.
I remember Wally telling someone one time about you serving pudding on
the yellow line in the middle of the road because they showed you
a 100% guranteed life Swainson's Warbler. He must think you
are wonderful.

Here are two secrete e-mail addresses you may try him at. I'm sure he
will get at least one of your messages. He may respond to you
at one of these special addresses. Don't let others on TN-Birds
know that I gave you these special, personal e-mail addresses.
And promise not to let him know I gave them to you. He would
shun me for months. He would take me off of TN-Birds and make
fun of me publically and talk bad about me at TOS meetings.
Wally would kill me if he found that out. Anna and Nell would tell
you that it might be the middle of next summer before you year
from him. But go ahead and use his special e-mail addresses:

jwcoffey@xxxxxxxxxx and jwcoffey@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Of course you know he hides behind that jwcoffey@xxxxxxxxxx
address so he doesn't have to respond to the rest of us low life
people here on TN-Birds that he thinks are beneath him.

Do you know him? I'd like for you to introduce me to him. I
think he is really cute. He is a great looking guy. I hear he
has a beard. Is that true? Chris Sloan said he was the best
birder in Tennessee. Jeff Wilson said he didn't think he was
that good of a birder. Ken said he use to have a crush on
Robbie Hassler when he was young. I wished he'd have a
crush on me know that he is old.....Don't keep your fingers
crossed on an e-mail from Wally ;-)

Mary Christmas to you.....

Merry
