Today with a short time to spare before court, I swung by Arrow Lake in Mt. Pleasant, located on hwy 166 just south of Columbia. Due to the dry weather, water levels are low at Arrow lake and this has created a mud flat on the upper end. Along with some shorebirds and a number of herons, a lone immature white ibis was prancing back and forth searching for food. Upon calling some of the Mayfield-Gray Chapter members, this bird hasn't been seen in Maury County for about 10-12 years. Good Birding!
