[TN-Bird] Woodcocks, (east Tenn, Knox County)

Last night (Feb 13, 2011) Mike Nelson and I visited Forks of the River WMA in 
Knox County in east Tennessee. After sunset, we heard 2 and saw 1 AMERICAN 
WOODCOCKs.
We also heard one EASTERN SCREECH-OWL and one BARRED OWL.
Some other birds of note:
Savannah Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow - I have only seen this species here once before. It was 
in a group of sparrows near the old silo.
Sharp-shinned, Cooper's and Red-tailed Hawks.

There likely will be a KTOS field trip out there in March to look for 
Woodcocks. If so, I hope many of you can join us.
