Traveling
Drove over to Woods Reservoir this morning after work. Finally found the
Pacific Loon at the Morris Ferry Ramp and Fishing area. Also present were
23 Common Loons, 8 Pied billed Grebes, Belted Kingfisher, Red-shouldered
Hawk, Ring-billed gulls. Drove around the rest of the lake and counted 60
other Common Loons, 12 Horned Grebes out from the dam. 350 Mallards, 4
Black Ducks, 10 Common Goldeneyes, 20 Buffleheads. Cold, Windy morning.
