Sorry for the late post. On Monday (5-22), I heard a Common Nighthawk multiple times. On Tuesday (5-23) I saw a pair of Red-headed Woodpeckers across the creek in an open Pine/Deciduous forest. They went in and out of holes, possibly (hopefully) they're going to nest. They were aggressive to a nearby Red-bellied WP, kind of odd since RBWPs are residents, you would think it would be the other way around. Today (5-24) I had a KENTUCKY WARBLER singing across the creek. Perfect habitat for them, including a small creek running through it. I caught a quick glimpse of it, but not great looks.
