I saw a Yellow-headed Blackbird in a tree top yesterday evening on Bluebird rd
just off the 245 exit on I -40
I posted a report to eBird
36.189617,-86.187629 coordinates for the spot
It flew West directly in line with and over Bluebird rd until it was out of
sight.
I looked at previous Wilson county eBird reports when I got home and found a
report from 2015 of one at a feeder just a few days apart from this sighting.
Both sightings are not all that far from each other on the map. That bird
stayed for a few days, maybe this one will stay in the area, who knows. I saw a
flock of Cowbirds in the area but the Blackbird wasn’t really associating with
them, but maybe it hangs out with the group.
