Good morning all,

I just received the following information which may be of interest to some of
you. As part of Conservation Through Art (a fundraising partnership between
ArtsMemphis and Ducks Unlimited celebrating the arts and the outdoors), these
organizations are hosting the exhibition of over 300 decorative bird carvings.
Part of a collection of exquisite carvings amassed by Doug and Ellen Miller,
(Castle Rock, Colorado) over the course of the last 50 years, the exhibition
features lifesize carvings of all manner of birds. The exhibition will be on
display at Ducks Unlimited, 1 Waterfowl Way, Memphis, TN 38120 (901) 758-3825,
from November 2 through the 28th and is open to the public. The hours are 8 am
to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. On Friday, November 7, join the Millers for an
open forum on the history and content of the collection at Ducks Unlimited,
from noon to 1 pm. Admission to the exhibition and forum are free.
