Sorry to chime in a bit late on thisSomething to consider when looking at eBird list totals, they include all species you have reported, regardless of "wildnesss." I'm not talking about Hooded Cranes, but about Muscovy Ducks, Whooping Cranes, lovebirds, and munias. There's an as yet unresolved issue here in that eBird encourages reporting of all exotics, not just the "countable" ones, in order to track them for scientific purposes. But they are not excluded from list totals. This is a topic of much discussion in internal eBird circles, and no simple resolution is forthcoming in the immediate future.
List totals also include institutional and group accounts (e.g. I was listed twice, once as me, once as the compiler of the Big Sandy CBC) if the account owner has not remembered to go into the account preferences and "opt out" of the listing games (my bad, fixed).
