8-9 Sept 2012, west Knox Co Lots of nocturnal migrants detected over the house the last two nights... mostly Swainson's Thrushes in waves of up to a couple dozen per minute. Also several Gray-cheeked Thrushes heard Sunday morning and a few warbler-like chips and sparrow like tseeps both nights. I had a lot of distractions Sunday morning but still managed 9 warbler species in the yard with C Yellowthroat as the most unusual (for this location) and Chestnut-sided and Am Redstart as most abundant, plus an honorary warbler, Yellow-throated Vireo. A few Swainson's Thrushes stopped over to feed on the Black Gums.
