The wings sounded buzzy, with more of a rattle than normal. It's possible that it was a damaged wing, I suppose, making the unusual sound which also may explain its late migration, but would different species of hummers make different "flying sounds"? I suspect it has run on before the cold front and rain that arrived last night, but I'll watch for a while today to see if it's still hanging around....
