"My" phoebe has finally decided to eat the dried mealworms as times grow more desperately cold. There may be two different phoebes in fact. I put the mealworms in a small but deep cup that keeps the wind from blowing them away. The phoebe(s) sits on the edge of the cup and eats a few, then picks one up to take along, and does this about every 30 minutes or so. I can keep up with the times/consumption, as the cup sits just outside a window for easy viewing.
