[TN-Bird] red-shouldered hawk

Monday I posted about a red-shouldered hawk I had seen at Norris Dam Songbird 
Trail (Anderson County) with something pink and worm-like under its chin.  
Since it had just finished eating I speculated that part of its meal may have 
become wrapped around its mouth.  I've now gotten the photographs developed and 
posted them to my Flickr page.  Below are links to the two photos that show the 
band. If you click on the + sign above the photos to enlarge the view you can 
make out the band.  I'd be interested in any other thoughts as to what this may 
be.
