Monday I posted about a red-shouldered hawk I had seen at Norris Dam Songbird Trail (Anderson County) with something pink and worm-like under its chin. Since it had just finished eating I speculated that part of its meal may have become wrapped around its mouth. I've now gotten the photographs developed and posted them to my Flickr page. Below are links to the two photos that show the band. If you click on the + sign above the photos to enlarge the view you can make out the band. I'd be interested in any other thoughts as to what this may be. Thanks. http://www.flickr.com/photos/foxysparrow/4032306233/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/foxysparrow/4033059862/in/set-72157622626319110/ Carole Gobert, Knoxville, TN _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail: Powerful Free email with security by Microsoft. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/171222986/direct/01/ =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
