As of January 31, 2003, results from 23 Tennessee CBCs have been submitted to the national CBC database; this total is just two shy of the all-time highest total for submissions of CBCs from Tennessee. There is still time this week-end for any remaining CBC data to be entered into the national database, and I hope that the compilers of all CBCs that remain unaccounted for are working hard to remedy that situation. A table displaying numbers of CBCs conducted in Tennessee (and three neighboring states) and submitted to the national database since the inception of the CBC in 1900 is available at this website: http://iweb.tntech.edu/sstedman/AnnualNumberCBCsKYTNMSAL.htm Results from the latest CBC season may be accessed at this website: http://www.audubon.org/bird/cbc/ Many thanks to the compilers of the 23 Tennessee CBCs and to the many participants in this, the longest running bird survey in history.
