Birds of interest today, Saturday, for my field birding class at Washington 
College Academy were: 
West View Ponds
3 White-crowned Sparrows
Davy Crockett Birthplace Park, Limestone
pair of Baltimore Orioles
3 Northern Rough-winged Swallows

Persimmon Ridge Park, Jonesborough
Gray Catbird
Red-eyed Vireo - eye level, crushing good look from boardwalk
Scarlet Tanager - high in trees atop Walter's Trail
2 Indigo Buntings, boardwalk
Blue Grosbeak, boardwalk

Thursday night, singing from the woods at my home at Bear Run near 
Jonesborough, first ever 
Whip-poor-will
Also arrived at Bear Run this week:
Wood Thrush
2 nesting pairs of House Wren
