Hi Dan.

Jim Butterfield's book is really good and is what I used years ago:

Machine language for the Commodore 64 (and other Commodore computers) by Jim Butterfield

There's a newer version called:

Machine Language for the Commodore 64, 128, and Other Commodore Computers by Jim Butterfield

You can find it at http://project64.c64.org/misc/index.html. It's also listed Amazon.com (used).

Hi Everyone;

Can anyone reccomend a good website or book to start learning assembly language on the C64?

Can you use the built in monitor in VICE to code with?

Dan
