Back in 2005, I was asked to make a presentation on the history of personal computers at York University. I did so, and I recall that a few TPUG members showed up, along with an interested collection of students.

Recently, I received a couple of questions about that presentations. I have no idea whether anyone at York U attempted to videotape the event or not.

But after digging it out from my files, I thought, "Hey, this would be a good time to build a simple web site." So that's what I did. You'll find my speaking notes at:

The material is freely redistributable, of course. If John Easton is short of material for the TPUG newsletter (naah, that never happens), he's welcome to grab it if he wants it.

Don't waste your time digging around the web site. There's nothing there except the one item. But if you're short of nostalgia reading material, at least this will keep you entertained for a few minutes.
