[torontocbm] Can someone help me with C64 output line noise?

Howdy,
I want to reduce if not eliminate the noise my C64 audio output has.
Someone had mentioned to me about a resistor on the audio in circuit at
one of the meetings, but I haven't found this info online yet.
Can anyone help with this request? I've heard many outputs from other
musicians and yeah... I'd like to have mine quiet as well when nothing
is playing.
