If this does not work, I have spare of each chip that you are welcome to.
However, I will have very limited availability until week of 24th

Hi Everyone
So I was able to test out the 901484-05 and 901484-03 chips on a working 2031 and problem followed. So I am assuming both of these chips are damaged/corrupt. I read that you can burn these onto EPROMs :

does anyone from TPUG, who will be attending next week’s meeting, have an EPROM programmer? I have some old TI EPROMs that I can bring with me along with the .bin files I got off the net in order to burn them

A similar issue on the 1541 was a bridge rectifier, but I"m not sure of the guys of the 2031LP

Hi everyone
I have a Commodore 2031LP drive where red LED stays on and drive is stuck spinning when turned on. I did some research on the net and it looks like my 901484-05 and 901484-03 chips may be bad. Does that make sense ? could it be anything else?
Thanks
Simon
