Hi John,
I don't think I can be there on Saturday, but we'll see.
I do have a small collection of the original Etobicoke B of E cassettes and
probably also a VIC20 that I could drop off at your place when convenient.

Y’r right Mike ... MY Fat-40 has some 31743 bytes free.
Which brings up a question ... since I don’t appear to have received the
original of this message, and it’s sender seems to have been assigned a
“redacted” status ... I wonder whether you folk ever received MY note of last
week (I received a copy, but also with the “redacted” assignation) since I’ve
heard no reply with offers of assistance.
My note referred to an “open house/anniversary” at West Humber CI this coming
Saturday. They are planning to set up classrooms pertinent to each decade of
their celebrations. I’ve promised a Fat-40 for the 80’s classroom. Not sure
yet whether I should just supply some educational disks of the era, else
transfer some stuff to tape for the REAL experience.
My note also pointed out that I DO have a collection of Educational Tapes for
the VIC-20. I’ve checked at the church, no VIC-20 there ... so if anyone wants
to help out with a VIC-20 for the occasion ... hey I’m willing to donate these
albums of tapes to whoever can help out.
Since offering this service to West Humber I’ve run into a slight problem ...
a funeral. I’m expected to be attending a funeral for a neighbour at the
church at 1 p.m. Which gives me a problem, especially if no-one else offers to
help. I can take the stuff there either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning,
but can’t be in attendance for the whole time (11 a.m. thru 3 p.m.) ... no
problem if it just is to sit there blinking “READY”, but what an opportunity
might be lost in advertising the existence of TPUG?
My daughter can bring home whatever is left of my equipment ... no problem
there, but whoever else can be there to encourage the re-enactment of history?
Golan ??? (sorry, I’d told Golan it was at North Albion ... just a bit east of
West Humber, but close to his heart as a kid).
hopefully y’rs,
John
PS ... the Newsletter is just on the verge of publication ... thanks Ian.

Looks like a Fat40 with a memory problem. Wonder what he thinks it's worth.
