Hi guys ...
I mentioned this date quickly to a few folk last week. Note ... this school is
WEST HUMBER CI, (sorry Golan, my mistake), 1675 Martin Grove (just south of
John Garland on the east side). Saturday May 14.
I can probably dig up some suitable PET stuff (and a fat-40 to add to the
authenticity). I DO have a few albums of cassette-based official Educational
programs for the VIC-20, but don’t have one myself ... hmmm, wonder if there is
one at the church.
Anyhow, this would be a great chance to expose the club to the public. I’ll
plan on arriving Saturday morning (else Friday, if that would encourage fellow
volunteers) ... thence to locate the ‘80’s classroom. Any others interested?
Who’s got a C=64 with suitable Educational software?

Hi John,
My apologies for not getting around to replying to your message earlier.
Yes, we are trying to re-construct some classrooms, if possible, for the
school's 50th anniversary weekend, specifically when our classrooms would be
open on Saturday, May 14.
Anything you could lend us for that day would be most welcome. One classroom
each is devoted to the following decades: 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000 to
present day.
Let me know if you or anyone in your group would be interested in helping us
out. You could bring in your equipment the afternoon of Fri. May 13 to have it
set up in the appropriate room, or come by early in the morning on May 14 to do
so. I believe the day on Saturday ends at 3 p.m.
Thanks for your offer,
June

June ...
Shawna tells me that you folk are attempting to re-construct schoolrooms from
the ‘80’s and up for your up-coming reunion on May 14.
Well ... I have Commodore PETs available and perhaps Commodore 64 and VIC
machines that developed in the 80’s and 90’s. I can pass on the request for
further support among the local aficionados. I know that there were programs
developed for instruction in many educational applications at the time that
should run on these machines.
Just keep me in the loop, and I’ll attempt to find suitable resources for your
endeavours.
