Did anyone manage to get a Volker-Craig terminal?

I was able to make it to the storage unit last night. 20 or so of us
collected computers, software and documents.
Commodore:
There were 4 or so PET’s, 10 C64’s and a couple 64’s stuffed into Vic
cases. Some IEEE drives, many 1541’s. Quite a few commodore monitors
including a monochrome C-10, 5 or 6 C64 monitors(forget the model#) and a
couple of 1084’s.
Many boxes of manuals, advertising, boxed software, diskettes, TPUG disks,
power supplies, empty C64 cases, empty 1541 cases, loose power supplies,
hundreds of cables, a couple external Amiga drives.
TRS-80:
A bunch of TRS-80 computers including a model I, 4 model III’s, 2 model
4’s, a coco or two
Apple:
Lots if iMacs and several Macintoshes
An apple II clone. An Apple iic and a bunch of software.
IBM Compatible:
A couple IBM 5150’s. 2 or 3 monitors.
There was a wall of IBM compatible software donated from a store
bankruptcy.
Two boxed montherboards, one 386 and one 286 or 486.
Random Stuff:
Some Osborne stuff, an early Compaq, a few VT100-type terminals. An Epson
LX-800 dot matrix printer.
There were hundreds of non-descript keyboards, power supplies, wires,
interface cables, and a giant pile of boxes full of software, advertising,
magazines and books.
More modern stuff: Quite a few 17 inch 4:3 LCD monitors in good shape.
Thank you to Jen, Syd’s widow, and to George, Syd’s museum co-hort. It
must have been upsetting for Jen to see us removing items, but a relief as
well knowing much of Syd’s collection would be cared for and appreciated by
people who share the retro-collecting bug.
Not sure what is left there today. I heard someone has offered to remove
what remains at the end of today. Perhaps for a combination of eBay, flea
markets, and eWaste.

during the day (10AM-5PM) the Personal Computer Museum's storage facility
(183 Dalhousie St.) will be giving away miscellaneous items from the unit.
Look for the Computer Museum tripod sign out on the sidewalk. These time
slots will be used for the recipients of Sydbits, volunteers and the
community to come to Dalhousie Street storage and take what they want from
the unit.
Come and take a look at what we have to offer, you may see something you

student Gold area parking pass displayed.
