Will all current board members be in attendance? 2. Will all current board members tender their resignations at the beginning of the meeting so that a new board can be chosen? 3. If so, who will moderate? 4. Will current board members be eligible for positions on the new board? 5. What rules of order will be used? 6. What will be done if there isn't a quorum? I would also like you to clarify that non-members will not be admitted to the meeting. -- Golan Klinger Dark is the suede that mows like a harvest. To the best of my knowledge, they will all be there except for one person. The directors are not required to resign. There will be 4 directors whose terms have expired and an empty seat on the board which, need to be filled. The directors whose terms have expired can be nominated and voted back to the board. This allows a turn over of at least half the board. Each board member will serve a two-year term. Until the new board members are chosen and they elect their executives. The present president will moderate. After that the new president will moderate. See answer 2. Roberts Rules of Order. First off I do not think that will happen. And as stated by the by-laws as long as 2 members are present the meeting will continue. Non-members are welcome to attend. They may observe but cannot participate. Any interference and they will be asked to leave. The board is longing to improve TPUG, but we are still bound by the by-laws and the laws of Ontario. It is illegal for non-members to vote.
