Greetings my Commodore Comrades! How are ya all!? My name is Zeshan and I was introduced by Leif to your Commodore fraternity a couple of months ago. I bought my first computer back in 1987 -- the c64C (with 41-II drive, 1802 monitor & later bought a mps 1230 printer), and ever since then I became devoted to this remarkable machine. Ah the memories of playing video games, bbsing, surfing the net (using novaterm + shell account) doing my university papers and etc. Using my 64 in the late 80s and the early 90s were one of the most enjoyable times spent in my life. Thanks to commodore loyalists like Leif and all of you it's great to keep the interest in our commodore computers alive. Let us enjoy the nostalgia! PeaCE! I originally suggested a webforum, but most of you said you preferred a mailing list. This is something I've set up on my own, it's not affiliated with TPUG in any way. That said, TPUG and its members are more than welcome to join the list and make full use of it. It's also not intended to replace comp.sys.cbm or Lemon64 - Let's focus on Toronto-specific topics. To join the list, send an email to torontocbm-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field. To send an email to everyone on the list after joining, email torontocbm@xxxxxxxxxxxxx . It's easy! Or, you can join using the webpage, as well as view/search archives. //www.freelists.org/list/torontocbm Please join if you're interested in keeping in touch with your fellow C64/VIC20/etc users in the area and hearing about events via email. Similarly, please use the list to reach the "group" - that way, nobody is left out and we're also not bothering anyone who has chosen not to join. Any questions, let me know.
