Hello,
I really think that we should have a working C=64 ready on meeting nights. It
could be kept in storage, or brought by somebody in his/her car. We could also
keep a PET or VIC-20 available, but I don't think it's necessary because the
C=64 is light-years ahead of those computers. We could also keep an Amiga 1000
ready because games can usually run on Amiga 500s, 1000s, or 2000s, and I think
the Amiga 1000 looks better than A500s or A2000s, and has a compact
configuration. Approx. twice as many games run on 512 KB Amigas than 1 MB
Amigas, but it's possible to upgrade the memory of an Amiga 1000 either to 1 MB
or 2.5 MB by attaching the extra memory to the right side of the Amiga. I own
almost all the best programs for the C=64, so I don't need any more, but I
would like to see games run on an Amiga 1000 before I buy them (usually on
eBay). I hope you agree with me, and I might see you at the next meeting.
Cheers!!!
Sincerely,
Marlon Schmitt
