Thanks everyone for responding. Single drive is all I'd need it for. No twist in the cable. I'm in Toronto beside the CN Tower. I didn't buy WoC tickets, but I'd like to attend this year.

I have a set of cables that are 2-3 inches long. I used a specialized device to make an image of a drive last night and backed it up onto a modern computer. It worked perfectly.

I'd like to buy a separate set of longer cables to use with the imaging device with other drives in the future. The short ones are going back into a computer.

Thanks,
Ryan

How long, single or two drive, and with or without the IBM 'twist' ?
@ Ryan: where are you, or could you pick up at WoC?

    Hi Ryan,

If you do find some, I would like to also buy 2 sets.

It's funny, I used to have lots of these cables... but they've all
    gone away.

If you can't find any, then perhaps we can buy the parts from
    Digikey and make our own?

I have the crimping tool for the IDC ends.

Maybe A1 Electronics might have these cables?

    Josh

Does anyone have the two ribbon cables needed to connect an MFM hard
drive to a controller that I can buy?

If I'm wrong to ask on this mailing list, please let me know for future

    Thanks,
    Ryan
