I need you battlehardened gurus to help me out.

I hav ebene using p64 for a while, and i've blown 2 sids already.

You read "don't connect the sid to a mixer while it is already turned on"

and yet "don't turn on a mixer while the sid is connected"

the same goes for the mixer being off....

SO uh..

that ends up with the sid never being connected to anything ever...

So why don;'t i just build a circuit to protect the sid from overvoltages?

I have looked online and found only circuits designed for the Audio In. They don't seem like they'd work for the audio in as well, according to other smarter minds thanmine.

Some of you battle weary CBM warriors must know some Compute magazine page or old diagram somewhere for a circuit i can build...

please? !
