I have an update on this... The contents of the storage locker were sold as a lot.  The buyer did not want me to part any of it out, and he cleared the locker this weekend.  He intends to keep, study and restore most of it, but might be willing to part with some items.  I have his permission to tell you that his name is Edward and his e-mail address is hunt4homes@xxxxxxxxx    I'm sorry to all the people who emailed me about buying individual items.  I probably could have made more money doing that, but selling it as one lot worked much better for me.  Try emailing Edward if there is something you are still burning to have.

I originally mentioned that more items are available for sale at my house that were not part of the storage locker lot.  I'm not in a rush to sell these so I'm looking for the best market value offer. This time I put a desired dollar amount based on recent sold prices on eBay.  I decided not to list the PET 2001-8, at least not at this time.   I did not have time to look at the Apple stuff yet, but I think the Commodore stuff is what most people on this list are interested in:

Commodore 64C/1802/1541C in original boxes:

The emails keep pouring in, including multiple people interested in taking the whole lot.   Instead of replying to individuals, I went to the storage locker in Newmarket tonight and made a 10 minute video quickly rifling through boxes and showing some stuff.  It's not particularly detailed but you'll get a sense of what's in the storage locker.   Note that none of the stuff I listed separately at the end of my original email (for kijiji or ebay) is shown because those are in my basement.  It's really late and I don't have time to make a video of those right now. I will be busy Friday from 6 AM - 9 PM.

I'm sure there is more not shown in the videos.  For example, I later dug deep to the bottom of a box and found a whole bunch of TRS-80 external floppy drives.

To the people interested in the whole lot, after watching the video, if you are still interested, please email an offer to me. Whoever has the best offer can have it all.   I need the storage locker emptied.     If you want the other stuff I listed (C64C/1082/1541, PET 2001-8, PET 8032, Apple IIe/II+/monitor, Mac IIci, Mac LCII, etc.) please indicate that in your offer. Otherwise I can sell those individually to the best offer.

I'm available Saturday or Sunday.  I have a trailer hitch and can help tow a UHAUL enclosed trailer if needed.

Thanks for all the interest!  Sorry I didn't reply to everyone individually.  I thought making a video would be better.

Wow I got an overwhelming response to this post... It looks like pictures would be helpful.  I will have to find some website to upload the small handful of photos I have and post a link here late tonight.   I am working right now and will be busy until at least 9:00 PM.

I'm not sure how to handle multiple people asking for the same pieces.. there is also someone considering buying everything!

I kept my vintage computer collection in a storage locker while living in an apartment.  Last year I bought a house and moved everything I can into my basement. There is no more room so I've decided to let go of the pieces that don't fit within the focus of my collection as well as duplicates of what I have already. Much of it used to be part of Dave Dunfield's collection.  If someone were to take everything, you'd need a UHAUL trailer or a van.  The storage locker is in Newmarket.

There's some Commodore stuff... mostly things like joysticks, floppy disks, power supplies, one Commodore PC etc.  There is Atari stuff, lots of TRS-80 stuff, COLECOVISION Adam stuff, many S-100 cards, many manuals, an old Tektronix calculator, Heathkit computer, Osborne Vixen, Franklin Ace 100 and 1000, Intel development computer (for chip design), Superbrain S100 computer with 8-inch floppy drives, etc.

Everything must go.  I want to stop paying for the storage locker and hope to save this stuff from the landfill by finding new homes for them ASAP.  If you or anyone you know might be interested in something (or everything!), please contact me off list: ryan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx   I have SOME photos that I can send. Let me know what you are interested in.  I need to drive almost an hour to get to the locker so I'd prefer to just meet someone instead of going just to take more pictures and inventory.   If you can give some cash for the lot, that would be appreciated, but really I just need it gone and I'm not looking to make a lot of money from it.

I also have some other machines that I will be selling on Kijiji or eBay.  If someone is interested, let me know before I post them:

- Commodore 64C computer, 1802 monitor, 1541C floppy drive. All in original boxes, have not tested.
- Commodore PET 8032. I think it worked last time I tried
- Commodore PET 2001-8, different tape drive installed, not mounted.  Tape drive doesn't work, might have other issues
- Commodore desk for the VIC20/C64. It is missing the round C64 sticker on the drawer.
- Apple Macintosh IIci with colour monitor, keyboard, mouse, manuals, original boxes.  Working last time I tried them.
- Apple Macintosh LCII with colour monitor, keyboard, mouse, manuals, printer. No boxes. Working last time I tried them.
- Apple IIe, two versions (with and without numeric keypad). Both yellowed, unknown condition
- Apple II+, unknown condition
- Apple II colour monitor

I am willing to trade for a very nice working Commodore 64 with complete original box in very good condition (including all literature, plastic bags, etc.) That's the condition I expect for the majority of my collection.
