It all sounds good to me, but I'm not in charge...
Is there someone here that knows about programming computers "including the
Amiga"?
However, I will guess that we aren't coming to these meetings for night school,
so instead of lectures, perhaps they could just be talks about where to find
more help and what kind of help/material works best?

Hi Josh,
Maybe we could do 1 lecture about repair, and 3 lectures about using and
programming computers, including the Amiga.
Sound fair?
Cheers,
Marlon S.

Well, I suppose it depends on your idea of the word "Lecture".
"Lectures" from my dad were generally not welcomed.
I suppose it's a matter of knowing your audience.
How many prefer to talk about using and programming the computer?
How many prefer to talk about repair?
I personnally can't offer a lot of advice on Commodores, since I've only ever
repaired a couple of PET 2001's and a handful of monitors.
I'm only bringing this reference device for checking DMM accuracy.... no
lectures from me! However, since some guys here like the idea, then may I
suggest I write about some techniques on this list? Some guys can pitch in,
others can ignore the thread based on interest.
Josh.

a lecture definitely does not sound very appealing

It would be nice to do a trouble shooting lecture, but there's a lot involved.

Could expand the meeting scope to all forms of electrical testing of old
machines. Not something I know much about.
(Keep the meeting ideas coming!!!)

When's the next TPug Meeting?
I have built on a perfboard some high precision voltage regulator and resistors
for testing the accuracy of my meter.
Would anyone like me to bring this reference with me to the next TPug meeting
to test your meter?
Josh
