Hi,
Might be better off with flicker fixer and modern style LCD
monitor.  Logically, the 1080 being more than 10 yrs old
can only last so long.  I can offer external flicker fixer
for $165 US.
or internal 2320 for Amiga 2000 for a bit less.  the
external flicker fixer has 2 yr warranty.
