Cleaning up after the flood of last week I ran across my old Transactor Disk collection. I have from 1 to 26 (missing 22). Does anyone know whether this collection goes farther than #26 February 1989. And does anyone have a spare copy of disk #22? Hmmm ... wonder what Bill MacLean or Carl Hildon would think of TPUG re-issuing this collection with their next TPUG CD update?

Hi John -

If I recall correctly (and I do not always do so) the early disks were freely copyable. It was after the Transactor was bought out by the English company that the new owners clamped down on copying.

So I don't think the previous owners (Karl etc) are the ones to ask - it would be the last owner of the Transactor wherever they are and if they still even exist.
