Just hold back a bit. Ultimate 64 will probably have a premature FPGA
core to begin with. This is a C64 emulation but the better type of
emulation (FPGA ~hardware emulation). It will probably take some year
after release to iron out the main issues (firmware updates required).
The closest on market right now would be TC64 (Turbo Chameleon 64) in
standalone mode.
Nothing will replace a real C64 with a real 1541 Ultimate for some time.
The best emulation so far is still VICE.
Knowing that, I'm buying without selling the old safe ones.
