Wow I grew up listening to this Hamilton radio station and even I don't
remember this contest.
So for those that don't know, this is a "Top 40" countdown list that used
to be given out at record shops and various places (remember, this is
before the web). The top 40 would air and the list would go out - this is
from March 23, 1983 (Do you Really Want to Hurt Me from Culture Club is #1
for the 4th week in a row LOL). So many great 80s songs in here-- Mr.
Roboto and She Blinded me With Science stand out to me.
So on the 4th page is this awesome "WIN A COMMODORE VIC-20 Computer" -- 1
of 1,000 to be given away in Ontario as well as 5,000 Pepsi radios.
So cool.
Somebody posted this picture on a "You are from Brantford if you Remember"
site, and the person kindly MAILED me the original, which I have scanned
and made available for you!
