I will be there after work... shortly after 5pm on Friday. I usually set-up the
tables when the hotel lets us in (some years right away other times after a
booked event finishes. Once my truck is unloaded, I have seating to help any
hotel guest who want to go to dinner usually at East-side Mario's at the mall
on the West end of the street from the Hotel. Others are welcome to come...its
usually a small group of us....
I will also bring the TPUG Cart....

My wife doesn’t think I should bother to drive `way out there’ on a Friday

on Friday night, and wants to pick it up, remember, I’m only about 7 minutes
away from the church ... just give me a call (416) 251-1511 and I’ll meet you
there.Else, I’ll pick it up Saturday morning and bring it out. And, I too am
busy Sunday morning, so won’t be there ‘till late (if at all) ... which would
entail that someone else should pick up the TPUG stuff and bring it back at the
next meeting. Seem to recall this was as it happened last year. John From: Tom

Are you coming Friday night? Would be great to set up as much as we can.

I'd planned to stop by the church to pick up our box of cables and power
cords. No problem to also throw in a couple of monitors.
Anything else?

Subject: [torontocbm] World of Commodore - Help Needed
Hi all,
There are a couple of minor tasks that we need some help with for
World of Commodore this year (probably a few more as we get
organized). I have to miss the second half of Saturday for my son's
birthday.
Can someone please help with the following:
1) Dave Ross is flying in to Pearson from Chicago on Friday December
8th, arriving ~8:30 PM. Can someone pick him up? His request is on
the WoC Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/events/1721070271529106/
2) Kevin Casteels is flying in from Vancouver to give a demo (whoa!) -
Obviously he can't bring a monitor. Does someone have a spare
1701/1702 that he could borrow for the weekend, or can we grab one
from the church?
3) Jim Happel has lent us a VR64 headset to demo. No presentation
needed, but can someone help set it up and keep an eye on it for the
weekend? Will need a 1701/1702 monitor for this as well.
Thanks
-Leif
