[torontocbm] best way to get an amiga 3000 on the net these days?

so I have an amiga 3000 here, need to get it on the net,
it seems to have a zorro-3/ISA slot
I'm assuming I could put a NE2000 or something,
if not, an xsurf2 perhaps.
they mention os 3.9 should be used,
not sure how to go about that.
the roms are 36.something, do I need new roms or
just KS/WB ?
and where to find those these days
why the 3000 and not a mac mini or so?
well paint on the amiga is actually a lot easier to use
so is animation.
this is for a 10 yr old kid wanting to get into it for little or no money....
