For the last several months, as they have for the past few winters, one or two
peregrines have been roosting most evenings on the 14th Street RR bridge over
the Potomac, where they may be seen in late afternoon or early morning from the
Yellow Line Metro line trains when the trains are crossing over the parallel
Metro bridge on their way between DC and Virginia.
