The Mississippi Kites have returned to Gaines and Jackson Street in Burke,
Fairfax County, VA.
I saw 3 Kites together. 2 Kites flying together and 1 Kite that was very
high in the sky. The Kites gave me a wonderful performance flying and
hunting dragonflies. 1 Kite even landed in a close tree for some wonderful
photos. I was talking with a homeowner who informed me the Kites returned to
this area last week. I did see the Kites land in a tree, but could not find
a nest.
