A very quick (~30 min) walk up part of the Three Ridges Mtn. hike (AT) from
Reeds Gap stirred up GREAT CRESTED FLYCATCHER, BLACK & WHITE WARBLER,
BLUE-HEADED VIREO, "Myrtle" WARBLER, BLUE GROSBEAK and an OVENBIRD. Most were
in the open hardwood ridge after the first uphill stretch of the trail. Wish
we'd had more time to see what else is up there.
A LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH continues, singing reliably every a.m. and p.m., at the
house (near Nellysford).
